YUP, HE'S A DOGGIE, BUT HE'S ALRIGHT WITH US!

I am a nurse who has worked primarily in Long-Term Care. I enjoy working with the elderly, as there is much to learn from the lives they have led and the stories they tell! I am partially disabled with Fibromyalgia, Asthma and other Chronic Pain/Invisible Ilnesses, as they are often referred to. I began having an interest in Politics after noting the Sea Changes in how our Country operates and in it's Foreign Relations. Also, the continued loss of our freedom's has me quite worried! I had intended to be very careful in the wording I choose for my topics and/or opinions, as it seems to be a dangerous proposition to question authority at this juncture!? But the more I see and hear, the more angry I become. Therefore, I will speak my mind freely! It is my fervent wish that the world remain a safe place for my daughter, my granddaughter and recently born grandson. And all future generations. May God help us all!

Thank you. He is actually a Show Dog we bought from a local breeder/trainer of Goldens who had made him her pet. He is too "soft-feelinged" (not really a word!) to be in shows, so she kept him~~then realizing he was being deprived of companionship due to her book-publishing/writing and her training in Chicago!
I worked with some people who knew her well, as we had just lost our dear Max, our previous Golden, and were looking for another. It ended up that she trusted us enough to sell us her special pet. We feel honored, as many, many years of pedigree and great breeding went into this pup! He is still a stud, and will be breeding soon. Then will be neutered, so he doesn't end up with prostatitis, etc. Very common after 4-5 years of age, the vet tells us.
He's a big goober, our doggie!! And he LOVES KITTIES!!!
"Diamond in the Ruff" is his Pedigree name. We just call him Diamond. Among other names!! :)
